Welcome to Libraries of Eastern Oregon

A nonprofit organization since 2000, LEO  offers services to 47 public libraries across Eastern Oregon — an area larger than several New England states combined.

LEO is funded through direct contributions and grants. Board members and supporters believe the public library remains a cornerstone of democracy and the heart of the rural community in the 21st century.

Mission:  To create and deliver opportunities for 21st century public library services in Eastern Oregon

Text Box: “LEO’s mission goes far beyond supporting libraries — it is to provide expanded horizons for individuals in our region. More than making the libraries themselves relevant, LEO’s work reminds our citizens that education, entertainment and communal gathering are vital to livability in all communities.”
